Signs of Maturity
Maturity is when we realize: we are responsible for our actions and we stop blaming others. We realize that we can never be satisfied with the blame game. We learn the importance of being honest with ourselves. The importance of self-love. We generally are not taught why to love ourselves from very childhood hood and we rely upon others in order to feel good in the form of validation/appreciation. Even the comment concept of love is highly dependent on the partner. people start a relationship in order to derive happiness from others and in this move they tend to put a huge unrealistic burden of expectations on them. It's good to have certain real expectations but the unrealistic ones hurt. when things go against us - which is most likely to happen very often in our lives and no one else other than ourselves can understand us - we realize the importance of loving ourselves.
